The Post I've Needed to Write

Okay, so anyone who knows us-knows we haven't posted and yet our silence has said it all. How do you say what words can't express?

We miss her. Every. DAY. We cry. We laugh. We pray a lot...just to get through. We thank you.

Thank you for celebrating with us when we told you the news you've been waiting for...the news that everyone wants to shout from the mountaintops. Oh how we LOVED telling you. We're only sorry we didn't tell MORE of you and sooner. We're sorry we never posted "the pregnancy post." But be assured...we will next time :)

Thank you.

...For your prayers, support, cards, phone calls, emails, wisdom, advice, smiles and your example. We have met some FANTASTIC examples of SAINTS. Those who suffer with joy-who've lost children and continue to be open to God's perfect will-even though it is so scary.

And whether you've been through miscarriage or not-you have all loved us. You've loved her. And you never met her. But wow was she beautiful. And we are blessed. We are happy parents who bask in the GLORY of knowing our daughter, Mary Bridget Huber, rests in the loving arms of the Father in Heaven with Jesus Christ Our Lord and His Most Beautiful Mother, Mary, her namesake. Thank you God for this suffering. And thank you Venerable Nennolina for praying for us as we drew near to Christ in His passion...helping us to actually embrace our cross and see the beauty in suffering: the redemption of souls.

And it spills out. words that have been bottled up in our hearts. Words like-"I did it! I gave BIRTH and it was BEAUTIFUL!" "I'm a mother." "I got PREGNANT!!" and also words like, "Why, Lord?"

I'm sure days, weeks, and months will pass before I can really even BEGIN to understand what has really happened. And when her due date rolls around-we will throw a big party. We will celebrate her life-her eternal life in Heaven...and isn't that every parents' goal-to raise up souls for Heaven? Thank you Lord. We did it.
